When we plug in to Kingdom building, we plug in to a mighty power source

Who Is Able?

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 3:1-21

Key Verse: Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Who can accomplish the challenging work of building God’s church today? Who could possibly be able to convince self-centered Americans that a life given to service to Jesus Christ and His church is the best way to live? Who can endure the hardships and disappointments of Kingdom building and not get discouraged in the process? Who is able? God can do all this and much more. The Apostle Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, writes that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine!

When we plug in to Kingdom building, we plug in to a mighty power source beyond our imagination. We plug in to a God who has been planning our work for us since the beginning of our lives. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are “God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

If you choose to say yes to God’s purposes for your life, you’re plugging in to a power that has no limits and a plan that has no flaws! So, plug in, find your gifts, discover your passion, enjoy your service in God’s army! Your spot has been reserved for you since the beginning of creation. Your God is so awesome that He knew you before you were born. So, trust His calling upon your life.

Father, I am amazed at your planning and purposes for my life. I don’t deserve such love and care. In response I will serve you and your church for the balance of my life. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
